Granite_StateMy favorite part of this article:
"Republicans have unified control of 25 states. Along with the usual set of tax cuts for high-income individuals and business-friendly regulations, the result has been:
An unprecedented wave of restrictions on abortion rights
The spread of union-hostile "right to work" laws into the Great Lakes states
New curbs on voting rights, to further tilt the electorate in a richer, whiter, older direction
Large-scale layoffs of teachers and other public sector workers who are likely to support Democrats"
Ah, conservatives, you are so just. I want to help fuck the country up just like you!
All of those sound like great things, except for the curbs on abortion. I enjoy watching the democrats and their defense of the eugenics of Margaret Sanger, it's just further proves the absolute hypocrisy of the left. Plus the world doesn't need any more people.
"Right to work" being union-hostile? Don't make me laugh. It simply gives workers the option to join the union or not. Forcing people to join unions that steal money from them to donate to democrat politicians is wrong. No one should be forced to join a union against his or her will.
Curbs on voting rights? Such as the most basic requirement of providing an ID to prove the legal ability to vote? Again, don't make me laugh. This is by far the most sensible policy that only leftist activists oppose, especially when states provide a voter ID free of charge to those in financial difficulty.
Lay-offs of ineffective public workers is a benefit to all (except those being fired), since they are often simply leaches of taxpayer money contributed by the private sector. These policies help make the public sector more accountable and efficient.
