Replying to Why does it suck

I've been using my gopro for a while and I can't get the footage to come out looking nice. I have the good ole hd hero, and I usually film in 720p 60 fps. Just basic POV stuff, whenever I'm doing something cool.

My question is.. How do I get the footage to actually look nice when I put it on youtube?

I edit on a mac, I used to use final cut pro 7, and lately ive just been using imovie cuz its quick n easy. Though regardless of which I use, my hd footage comes out very pixelated. It's irritating cuz before editing my clips are clear as day and look very nice.

I'm not super techy so maybe it's compression, aspect ratio within the editor, or i dunno honestly.

Side note, my buddy called me yesterday (he as the 3 black version) and is having the same problem. Any tech nerds out there your help is deeply appreciated!!
