Hey guys do you think a normal household carpet could work for a summer set up if you wet it down enough?

Woodward PA has one of these and they just used super cheap, plasticky carpet and then rubbed it with water and it worked really well.

Ya but it would kinda suck get some cheap lattice and turf for the lip and you can use carpet or turf for landing. Most you would spend would be 30$
Experience: (I have tried using carpet...)

I used old carpet and it worked great for a summer, the next summer it sucked ass so I put orange fencing over it and now it works like a dream.

It works, but turf works better.

Regular house carpet is good for landings and around the rail where you don't need to get speed but on the actual drop in do what the others said and get some out door carpet and construction fence.

I have carpet on mine and as long as it is steep and not to crappy of a tranny then I like it better. The carpet I have feels a lot more snow like and I still get enough speed. If you can put construction fence over it and it will be money.
