Fellow east coaster commenting out of jealousy, looks like they're getting a dump of 10-20 inches, wet snow but probably very similar to most of our pow days anyway haha

I am from massachusetts and it is never wet snow here in co a basin is 11000 feet at the base and the snow is always light and fluffy ... may is the best snow actually.. east coast pow days are not pow days

I'm watching the weather. Not trying to get rained on. Might go up in the morning though. IT was starting to dump in leadville when I was leaving to go back to vail earlier.

I have an epic pass though so im good on tickets. (Unless they'll under 10)

Idk if I'll remember but I'll be a goofy ass snowboarder with a red oak mtn park crew hoodie noobin it up.

Gonna make the call around 9 whether we're rolling over. Would be nice to get back on the snow. IT's been a few weeks for me.

you're an idiot I don't care what elevation you're at right now if its raining at lower elevations the snow is going to be wet at higher elevations.

wow fucktard we got a meteorologist over here. You said yourself your from the east coast what the fuck do you know about elevation. Im an idiot bc i speak from experience Ive spent alot of days there skiing and working. Ive never seen the snow like snow on the east coast at that elevation. The higher in the atmosphere the colder and dryer it is. If its raining at lower elevation it will snow at higher. The fact that it changes from liquid to snow at higher elevations speaks to the fact that its becoming colder and dryer. So hense the higher u go the colder it is so the lighter and fluffier the snow is. Sorry for the lesson but you sir are the IDIOT!
