PSA: I am totally drunk so this might be worth the read because I write the best when I'm drunk. You can make fun of my grammar I don't give a fuck. Also, I have made some interesting connections that isn't some normal ass political ass argument. For a little foreshadowing, I am comparing Bernie Sanders to an Evil supernatural Russian folk tale character. Those words all together should be interesting enough for a solid skim through my post, but do whatever you want, nah i'm sayin. Also i'm about to head up to the mountains tonight and sleep in my car for maybe the last powder day of 2016. So yeah, here we go.
i'm taking an intro to Russian class focused on the analysis of their evil and supernatural beliefs. For those of you interested in Russian culture, their folk tales and pre-modern era religious beliefs are quite interesting and I would recommend reading some of their more popular stories like Baby Yaga and Viy. But back to the point, we have been learning about how evil characters (such as the devil, and the less known imp) deceive the common man into making agreements to gain something that is normally unachievable just by doing a few simple tasks; usually tasks that are within their profession. Typically in all of the stories, the victim is rewarded in the end, but only for a short period of time. The ending to all of these stories is never what the victim intended and it's always something that effects them in much more than just a financial way.
For example, one of the stories(the devil and the potter) is about how a potter made a deal with the devil to make 1000's of pots in one night. The devil delivered his promise the next day and they both went to the market the next day to sell the pots; to which they sold all of them. The potter left ecstatic with all of his newly gained riches and thanked the devil. They parted ways and the potter lived his life until he ran out of his funds. He did the only thing he knew and made pots to sell at the market. When he got to the market to sell his fresh new pots, no one was buying them. This continued for days and days until he became fed up with everyone passing his stand. He asked a woman that he sold a pot to previously why she wasn't interested in the pots anymore. She answered that the pots he sold previously (the ones the devil supplied to him) broke after the first day of use. People weren't buying his product because they were under the impression that his pots were inferior and of poor quality. The potter had ruined his reputation and was unable to continue living the life he had become accustomed too.
Now my argument isn't that Bernie is an evil Russian supernatural folk tale character, but he kind of is and I will explain the connection. From my definition of a typical Russian folk tale in the previous previous paragraph, and the example that explained the definition in the previous paragraph, I will make my comparison based off of these.
But before I start, Fuck Bernie Sanders hes a fucking bitch ass and I hate all of his political ideas and I hate that our dumb generation is blindly following him because its like the cool thing to do. Develop your own fucking opinion pussy's and don't listen to what your stupid extremist friends post on facebook. Fuckin what the fuck is wrong with 80% of my facebook feed. Now that I've gotten that out of my system we can start this shits.
Alright so to my first point. The first part of an evil Russian folk tale story is about how an evil character promises the common man a chance to obtain something that is normally completely unachievable without the use of magical powers. Fuckin come on, do I even need to explain how bernie fits this image? For those of you that don't, well let me explain. I have many examples, but this one came into my mind first. So Bernie promises equality between all races, genders, sexual preferences, and all of the above right? Well, psychologically, humans associate themselves with people that resemble themselves. There is no getting around this unless we go through some type of evolution that blocks association from our brain. Here are a few examples of this working in action. In prisons white people form groups with white people, black people form groups with black people, mexican people form groups with mexican people, asians forms groups with asains. This is PSYCHOLOGICAL. This doesn't happen by chance. Another example, lower class people will associate themselves with otherlower class, upper class will associate themselves with upper class, the super rich will associate themselves with people that are super rich. Our brains naturally look for people that our similar to ourselves. We cant do anything about it. Now lets look at corporate america, mostly wealthy white caucasions right? Is it a surprise that wealthy white Caucasians typically hire other wealthy white Caucasians? No, its not. It can be explained psychologically. This is the fact that the "equality for all" people cant quite understand. Now i'm not saying people of a different race or gender aren't qualified fo these jobs, but you have to understand this simple psychological fact and stop taking offense to it. To end this point, bernie is promising equality for all, when in fact our brains psychologically do not work in a way that looks at every person equally. That goes for all races, genders, sexual orientations, and all of the above.
Next point; this is about how we think we will win in the end, but an unfortunate outcome is on the horizon. If we nominate Bernie sanders as our president, alot of people will feel like they have beet the corrupt politics of american and feel that they have one the battle. But what they don't realize is that they have not even come close to winning the war. Bernie will do his best to pass the laws and practices that he promises to his voters, but the odds of it passing through congress, and the even tougher supreme court is just ludicrous. For those of you that understand how hard it was for obama to pass obamacare through the supreme court will understand that the likelihood of Bernie passing any of his socialist policies through the court are very, very slim. This is because, simply put, the United States of America was not built on socialism and our constitution will not allow any of his policies to pass. We fled the UK to escape government tyranny. It is crucial we do not enter into policies that we fled hundreds of years ago. We must learn from the past.To conclude this point, bernie will be elected and everyone will be jolly and excited that he is going to deliver these changes, but in fact the likely hood of them ever getting passed is about as slim as the shoot imma bout to go through tomorrow during the last powder day of the year. Haha be jealous poooozies.
Final point, electing bernie is going to effect us as a country in much more than a financial way. Not only is he going to fuck us over by spending more money that we don't have, he is going to bring us deeper into debt whilst taxing the poor and the successful in a truly, unarguably, unfair manner (sidenote, I think it's so funny how bernie preaches for equality, but he's willing to tax the rich 40% more because they don't deserve that much money and is willing to bash the modern day white man for actions that his ancestors might have done, fucking unreal how people look past this). By creating unfairness, whilst promoting equality, he will effectively separate the groups of people he is trying to create equal. To conclude, Bernie wont just fuck us over financially, he will separate this country to the same extremes that were seen during the civil war.
To conclude all of this, Bernie is the devil. He will ruin this country. He is a lying, deceiving bastard that is promoting equality by creating inequality. I hate his policies. I hate his values. I hate the people that preach he is the savior to this country and I hate that we as a generation are gullible enough to by into his lies.
Do research people. Develop your own opinion. Don't believe anything you read on facebook, or any news source for that matter. Don't be a sheep that follows the heard. We millennials have all the information we could ever want at our finger tips, but we resort to facebook and the tv for all of our information. OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES AND BE APART OF THE SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM.
