B1tchI can only imagine what the world would think of the United States if we actually elected Trump.
Who cares?
They'll still come crying when they need us, like they always do.
So fine, I understand people like the idea of having the government pay for everything, and to have the productive members of society pay for all the failings of the less and non-productive members of society.
However, what I cannot wrap my head around, is how you can sit there and honestly explain how a socialist welfare state will function when it's paired with essentially unlimited 3rd world immigration.
And all the pearl-clutching about some derision directed toward illegal immigrant criminals is laughable. I'm fairly certain the most exposure any of you have with Mexicans from Mexico is as your parents' gardener, or cleaning lady, the guy who takes your order at the taqueria, or at the all inclusive-resort you went to with your folks in Mexico.
Mexico's got plenty of good people, but lets not kid ourselves that there aren't significant numbers of evil criminals among the populations coming across the border, who are taking advantage of your pathetic immigration laws and border enforcement. Plenty of lives have been lost because of illegal immigrant criminals, and the drug epidemic in parts of the country is largely a result of the anarchy at the border.
Building a wall (as Israel has done and continues to do) makes perfect sense. Even for those of you who like Bernie's socialism, there can never be a socialist welfare state and unlimited immigration. Furthermore, it is not our responsibility to pay for all of Central America's poor simply because they feel like coming here, that's absurd.
I have yet to hear one good argument against building a wall (or secure fence of sorts) at the border. Besides of course, "it would cost too much!", which is funny given that it's the first time I've seen leftists concerned with government spending (that wasn't for the hated military of course). Wouldn't a wall be a great investment in domestic infrastructure? Certainly from even a health standpoint it would prevent the spread of certain diseases.
