Nate Silver is an expert in stats, as is Harry Enten.

The other two are political scientists.

I mean, I don't know what more you would want from an article discussing the recent polling numbers. You have two people breaking down the figures, and two breaking down the political aspects. Seems rather sound to me.

I am not contesting anything, I am merely providing another source of information that paints the situation in a different light.

Egos have nothing to do with race. Nor does stubbornness.

I am not "butt hurt" about Bernie doing well, merely skeptical of these polling numbers seeing as both Iowa and New Hampshire have large white, democratic constituent numbers. Bernie has a chance, the question that people still need to ask is how good of one? 20%? 30%? 50%? No one can accurately say.

Thorpe estimates, taking into account taxes he thinks that plan needs to finance itself, that many groups would pay more:
71 percent of total working households with private insurance would pay more.

Exactly what SFB said. Sander's make it seem like we're going to be saving money. However, in reality what will happen is you will be forced to pay for healthcare or you will thrown in a cage. You will be forced to pay into a system that is designed for insurance companies and hospitals to profit while the consumer takes the hit. Medical cost are going to continue to sky rocket because the citizens of this country are going to be paying the tab.

There is no reason we should be FORCED to pay for medical. Why does every trip to the doctor need to go through a middle man? A middle man that is going to take their cut regardless. Now you can't even go to the doctor for a check up without it going through insurance. Insurance is supposed to be there for emergencies. Not routine visits. That is why medical cost are sky high. What if I do not want medical insurance? Either go to jail, pay the fines or buy into their system. Some free country/free market we live in eh?
