im wise enough to realize that I don't have the knowledge to go around galavanting about what policies should be in place and which shouldn't. No other candidates offer any alternatives because every other candidate is a joke. Bernie is a rose in field of shit flowers. he is a genuine and honest man that I can trust to make the right decisions.

If it takes 30 years of experience to form an opinion on politics then the system is truly broken. Voting for a presidential candidate should not require advanced knowledge to understand how policy changes will impact ones life. Obviously the intricate workings of every policy is too complicated for even the most knowledgable person to fully comprehend because the effects are impossible to predict. But it is possible with basic research/knowledge to understand the possibilities, and that is where opinions come from.

You need to realize Bernie may spout all this rhetoric about what he wants to do, but America is a federal constitutional republic meaning he needs to gather support from other politicians, not people, to further his causes. I am not saying this means he will not be able to accomplish what he sets out to fight for, but it is not as easy as you believe. Look at Obama's first campaign platform and all the promises he made, very few came to fruition.

so then it should be no big deal to the Skeptics if Sanders gets the spot because we have a republican controlled congress. The reason these politicians come out with such bold plans is because they know whatever they want to do will be watered down to nothing after going through congress.

I'm sure the debate will happen once the campaigns are far enough along. Right now it seems to be more about just getting the word out on each candidate. But, that would be an interesting debate for sure and one of actual content & discourse.

They posted a link to the petition to truth in media or something. I wasn't trying to post facts for an argument, just a link to the petition to get them to debate. All they really said is that Rand has agreed, but not Bernie... yet.

For anyone watching the debate, I think it's worth noting that Hillary's campaign received $411,000 from Time Warner Cable (which owns CNN). I personally am expecting this debate to have the ulterior motive of boosting Hillary's poll results. But hey, I hope I get to eat my words on this one.
