broken bones

I just got off a broken arm and this was the first broken bone due to skiing. Just curious on how many people have broken bones due to skiing on this forum.

i may have broken my sternum or i think im a pussy and just bruised it. either way im walking hunched tommarow

I broke my leg in two places skiing about 3 years ago... spiral fracture to my tibia and a smaller one at the bottom of my fibia... wasnt back to normal until about 6 months later

i got a compression fracture in my back and i broke my pelvis (ass) when i hit a tree after hitting a big tabletop when i was 11

I broke a bone in my calcaneous(sp) bone in my heal trying a misty late last season...still have foot issues while skiing from it.

ya I got a spiral fracture because my leg twisted (snowblades dont have breakout bindings)hard enough to spinter my shin with a slanted break so I couldnt even have a walking cast. If I put any pressure on my leg the bone would slide!

i've gotten several concussions, broken 2 bones, gotten 8 staples in my arm, and slept in the hospital cuz i urinated blood due to bruised organs, skking doesn't like me, but i'll never stop.

my buddy just broke his febula and tibula (both bottom leg bones) and some how managed to ksi to the bottom of the hill. the doctors are messe though they said form 1 1/2 to 3 months recovery?

my doctor said 6 weeks for boken leg tib/fib

then he tacked on a coupel more weeks

then i had NO MUSCLE WHATESOEVER whne i got out of the cast

had to rehab FOREVER

running took forever

Skiing: nose, shattered thumb, ankel, concussion (not really broken)

non skiing: both ankels, wrist, both middle fingers, both torn knees, broken knuckel, another concussion, and countless other minor shit
