B.RyanSo i just found out that my buddy is enlisting in the military in the fall, which i give him mad props for. And he happens to be leaving for boot camp in october. Way before ski season in my area but still kind of depressing. Whats the best way to find new skiing buddies? Im gonna be in need of one come this next season
cddlswthsqrrlsHey man similar thing happened to me. My best friend and I both went away to college this year and we'd ski with each other almost everyday in high school. It sucks, but a few days out there by yourself and you'd easily find some people to ski with. Check out regionals on here too. Theres bound to be people in your area.
This season I skied by myself a lot and I actually really loved it. I just threw on some music and did whatever I wanted, it was pretty great. Try it out, you might like it! Then when my friend and I were able to ski together during Spring Break it just made me appreciate the time we had together more so that was really cool!
I met a lot more people this season than I ever had in a season so maybe you will too! Just gotta get yourself out there!
theabortionatorJesus christ.
TALK TO PEOPLE
when you ski in the park TALK TO PEOPLE
when you're on the chairlift TALK TO PEOPLE
when you're in the lodge TALK TO PEOPLE
or join eharmony and maybe you'll meet your soulmate and they'll never leave you for the military or anything else
B.RyanI did ski a few times by myself last year, it was just harder to try new things as you dont have anyone pushing you. But you are right, its a lot of fun. And ill check out regional when the time comes around again to start looking. Thanks!
