Centre Mounting Skis

Hey, Got my self a pair of skis where the recommended stance is -40mm. was wondering if you can centre mount them as i ski park

if you centre mount then you're going to affect how well it carves. (for the worse) but it will make spinning easier, and riding switch. If you're going to ski out of park then get -2, if not centre mount.

i ride future spins true center which are just thinner chronics and their great you'll be fine

I used to ride blends in the park that were mounted 3cm forward of center (recommended about 3cm back). They got the job done perfect

Why would you mount a ski 3cm forward of center? How much do you ski switch?

he doesnt ride forward ever. thats why he went plus 3 cus hes a switch ridin monsterrrrrr ;)

Park ski = center. Park ski that you want to rip outside of the park say the other 30% of the time, 2 back from center. Also be sure to see if there's a difference between the measured center of the ski and the camber center... if it has camber. If it doesn't, measured center is chill.
