I Might Be Famous Or Getting Trolled Super Hard

I'm making a thread so if I'm getting trolled theirs an record of being an easy target to follow me around the internet forever.

My friend Dylan is telling me that he saw me on nat geo breaking my brain at mount snow a few years ago.

The show is called "The science of stupid". Episode I guess is called Half Pipe Wipeouts. It says it's on tonight at 10pm eastern, 8 mountain time.

I was gonna but I was really sick. It'll prolly be on again though. It was on in the afternoon, night, and then latenight I guess. There aren't that many episodes so it'll probably be on again. I def want to record it proper next time.

yeah i definitely don't know the specifics of the laws but i have definitely seen people's youtube videos taken down (by the poster) because they got bought by a news agency or something.

also, idk who produced the show (nat geo commonly uses 3rd party content producers), but i dealt with a couple groups of theirs at a past job and sold footage, and one time they toyed with the idea of using a photo of mine for a while, ended up not using it, and paid me a small "consulting fee" or something just for using my time and looking at my stuff

these details aren't helpful, i know, but the point is there very well might be money in their back account that could be in yours in the near future. call them up and very politely tell them you happened to become aware of them using footage of yours and you're wondering what the deal is, how they obtained it, etc

in case that wasn't clear, i just said it because it makes me think that you havent forfeited anything simply by virtue of posting it on youtube. i don't know, but that's my guess. def worth pursuing

As far as I know they have to get permission from the original uploader.

A friend of mine has sold some videos of his to truTV. I know he got a least a couple hundred bucks from the one fight video.

As far as this all. Was told by a few people that anything on youtube is fair game. Wouldn't be surpsied but anyone know if that's true?

Yeah, it's part of the terms and conditions when you create an account. It becomes public property when you upload.
