because majority of this website is kids that grow up spoiled/get everything they want....do you ever see the "what'd you get for christmas threads?" or any thread that is "what car should I buy?" the shit posted on here is unreal....half these kids are driving a better car at 16 than I probably ever will, same with christmas presents. When I was growing up my parents spent like 150 bucks on christmas gifts....I see some kids get a go-pro, skis, video games etc...


This site is full of rich, liberal, sub-urban, white kids. Who have no idea how life works outside of Mom/Dads protective bubble.

I will say something though... and it's sorta confusing. Why are most if not all of the more loud conservatives all from the Northeast? You'd expect them to be from Wyoming or Idaho or some other batshit place, but they all seem to live in blue as fuck New England lol.

Lol, so many of the people on this site take their opinions straight from their party's mouth. There are only a few members on this site even worth having a political discussion with. Everyone else, I can pretty much guess their views on every "major" issue.

If you want anyone to take your political views seriously:
1. Form your own opinions on current issues, economy, war, etc.
2. Stay the fuck away from bullshit parties, especially the two major ones. Even if you totally agree with one or the other, stay independent. Parties spend millions of dollars every year hoping to turn you into a diehard member.
3. Vote for those who best reflect your opinions regardless of their party.

It seems like the hardcore liberals on this site are more inclined to post a ton in politically themed threads. I feel like the vast majority of more conservative members do the smart thing and keep their mouths shut for fear of being called racist, sexist etc. I am definitely a conservative person, not bible thumping, but still very right wing. I choose not to voice my opinions on NS regarding social matters because i know certain people *cough dingo and uglyboy cough* would freak the fuck out and its just not worth it.

Because a lot of new englanders grow up in well educated families with parents in the financial sector. Also to be real about it conservatives are more logical with how they handle money. Thats the thing about a lot of conservatives here is they don't give a fuck about social issues which conservatives from the south are clearly ape shit crazy when it comes to things like birth control, homosexuals, climate change. But they wanna save money, ie lower taxes, so they are conservative. Everyone in the northeast is pretty much in agreement though when it comes to social issues but its not very involved.

So people with a different political view are a serious problem? That in my mind sums up why the US Government is almost always at a standstill. Politicians are too concerned about what party they belong to and what party brought up the idea than actually getting things done and helping the country. What the hell do I know about politics though. I'm just a highschool senior. The one thing that annoys me the most is when classmates criticize any politician. Republican or Democrat, being a politician seems crazy hard and unforgiving. I know I couldn't do any better than any of the politicians out there now, so I choose not to talk shit.

I have lived a perfect suburban life, but I still work, believe in the rights for people and other liberal views but also believe in conservative views. My parents have money and I don't have shit, thats very apparent to me my parents are very willing to assist me but have always ensured that they push me towards being a productive member of society. I pay my taxes and work at a grocery store. Ya I'm not self-sufficient but how many 19 years old university students are?
I don't think all of us suburban white kids are all assholes that don't understand the value of everything.

The stupidity in that post burns my eyes. The extreme snowstorms in the NorthEast were caused by climate change. Contrary to popular myth, climate change does not just mean everything gets warmer. Climate change causes there to be fewer, but more powerful snowstorms, such as the one in Boston. There is still less snow and a shorter winter overall. Also, are you forgetting the midwest and california. California had one of their worst winters ever. Due to the draught, (also an effect of global warming) snowpack is the worst its been in a century and the ski season was shorter. As to "warming my ass," of course you, some random scientifically uneducated dumbass at a computer knows more than the thousands of scientists conducting thousands of studies, virtually all of which indicate climate change is real and a threat. Although skiing may be around forever, the seasons will be shorter, there will be less snow, it will be more expensive, and there will be fewer locations. As to "you can always go to Dubai bro,' i dont know about you, but I'd rather not buy a plane ticket to Dubai every time I want to go skiing.
