Bindings for SFB’s?

I will be mostly using the sf’s for deep snow days in the east in places such as Jay Peak, Stowe, etc.

What bindings do you think would be good?

Noticed the inclusion of Frame AT bindings on your poll. Are you intending to do some skinning on your SFBs?

Also it's hard to reccomend bindings without knowing roughly what DIN range you'd fall into. How heavy/tall are you? (I'm also assuming your a level III+ skier)

If you're average height and weight I'd go for either Attack 13's or STH2 WTR 13's. I've got a pair of STH2 WTR 13's and they're excellent, no complaints, great feel, great durability, great adjustability, and very reliable retention and release.

If you're bigger than average or use a very high DIN setting then going up to the 16 DIN version of either of those bindings would probably be a good idea.

Personally I would avoid FKS on powder skis, the heel can be a pain in the ass in deep powder whereas the STH2/Attack heel is far easier to click into the heel in powder. That's just my opinion though.

Sorry, yes I’ve looked into that and probably will be doing some skinning. Also I’m 5’7” 140lbs. I’m 20 and have been skiing for 17 years.

At your size a 12/13 DIN frame AT binding will be fine, there's no real need to take the fairly hefty weight penalty to get a few extra points on the DIN scale.
