so i live in a rural community so not a ton of people ski. also out of the skiers in this small town im literally the only one who hits jumps and jibs :( so i want to progress so i built a rather large backyard setup and it kind of sticks out. we live close the highway and so when everyone drives by they can see it. so whenever i see someone at church. at the short stop. wherever they stop me and are like, whats going on with that done did jump in your backyard???? (in a farmer accent missing like 6 teeth). so then i explain to them that its for SKIING and that you hit a pvc rail at the end of the take off. then they just kind of look at me like im retarded for "skiing" in my backyard. thoughts? comments? craziest thing someones asked you about your setup?
I have the same problem, lots of people around here ski, but its like "gaper" skiing and they dont know anything about freestyle or jibs or anything past green slopes so nobody realizes that you dont need alot of space for small jibs and stuff so they look at me as if i were retarded b/c i ski in my yard
