Donators would have to make quite a substantial supplimentary donation or pay a regular subscription fee for it be economically viable.

Correct! Donations are absolutely wonderful, but its a one-time small contribution and we wouldn't be sustainable.

If we were to do something like this it would have to be a very reasonable subscription fee.

ns premium, all ski movies on demand are free, plus no wait on ads and some type of video posting perk or something. Like 30 bucks every three months

$10 / mo would be high for this. I'm thinking more like the $2-$5 region. If you got what you asked would you actually pay that per month on a yearly basis?

Well it depends if its 2 or 5 hahaha. 24 bucks a year for on demand movies and no ads? Yes please! That would be awesome, and I'd actually save money because I spend more than that on ski movies every year lol.

thats the thing though, most people would only pay for the three or so months of winter

A lot of that would depend on the library of movies. If we had every ski movie ever made + all the new ones, it'd have to be expensive as it'd be a bitch licensing all of those. If it was more just older stuff, great edits and some of the semi-recent ones then it could be cheaper.

Good point - so it would probably then be more expensive if you bought short term and then cheaper if you went longer, something like that.
