Questions about icelantic

Does anyone know about icelantic da'nollies ? They look like a sweet ski! The problem is I dont know much about them? I am 5'5" 125 lbs. I ski 80% park 20% mountain. I ski at park city so I want it to be sturdy enough to hit larger jumps 30-50 feet, but still be playful enough to do small butters here and there. I'm probably going to get 170cm Length. How true to size are they? And final question is, post any edits with them. Thanks

Icelantic tends to size down a bit. So be aware of that. If you're looking for true 170 I would buy the 180. The sizes are all messed up.

I work as as tec and have seen far to high of a percent of the Icelandic skis coming though the shop (all ranges of models) to usually be extremely edge high.

This happens with skis from all makes but I have definitely seen it too often from icelandic

I know someone with them and i'm pretty sure they are quite buttery, don't think they'd hold up very well on bigger jumps, at least from his opinion

I find them to be true to size, at least in the 190 sizes. Great quality and the best no questions asked 2 yr Warrenty

Quite a bit late on this but I just got Da Nollies and I'm the same height. Did a tape measurement from tail to tip and they within like 2cm of the Length Icelantic says they are. I have the 170 version

As far as flex goes on the danollie I emailed Icelantic and got this back "So I just spoke with our athlete team manager/sponsored pro, Scotty Vermerris. Here is what he had to say about the Da'Nollies:

"Many of our athletes have no problem with real big jumps on the Da'Nollie and also the Nomad RKR SKNY. Depends a little on how you land. Back seat or way forward landing switch you may get flex and feel rocker but it shouldnt be a problem. Our skis aren't built super stiff through the tail like some park skis specifically intended for pipe skiing and big air but the truth is that its totally fine and its truly a great all around, super versatile ski that handles landings and charging around the hill"

They're really soft....would be alright for a 30 foot jump but it would not be your best choice if you're wanting to go big. Super fun jib ski though.

I have owned the same pair of Da'Nollies for 4 seasons. Every year I ski the crap out of them, powder, ice, rocks, concrete, rails, jumps, trees, dirt, and after 4 seasons what happens. The edge on the tails starts to come out. so know real effect on how the ski performs. They have lost all their pop though so they are pretty much butter sticks. If you want a poppy, buttery, most durable ski out than Da'Nollies are for you.

Trust me on this one.

JUST BUY ICELANTIC SKIS. JUST DO IT.


they're honest to god the best skis I've ever ridden, if you want a stiffer ski that can hold up on three kings and larger jumps, I'd go with a wider ski from them, like the da'nollies or nomads. I ride nomad SKNYs because we have literally no jumps in MN over 60 feet, and I'd be comfy hitting about 70 on my skis. Regardless of which park ski you choose, you'll be able to butter and rip around the park/mountain whenever and however. Icelantic makes durable, long lasting and overall kickass skis.

The new Da'nollie is VERY soft. Definitely not what you want if you are looking to hit the jumps you stated.

Also agree 100% on the sizing. I told the rep guys they should make a 190, because the 180 was too short for me and would be for most people who normally ride a ski in that size range.
