So for grad, my buddy and I are receiving a ski trip to where ever we want to go in the US, and possibly to Japan or Australia too.
We normally ski in the Tahoe area and our favorite mountains are Northstar, Heavenly, and Sugar Bowl. Two of these mountains are owned by Vail Resorts, so we were thinking about heading over to other Vail Resorts in Colorado. We can ski every run on the mountain, and we do enjoy some good backcountry skiing. We also like to go through the park, but we can get intimidated sometimes by other guys throwing down huge tricks. So we kinda weren't thinking of going to Keystone or Breck or Park City. But now with the merger between the Canyons and PC, we may reconsider.
OR
We were thinking of maybe Jackson Hole? WE love to ski powder and after seeing their amazing snow this year we were thinking of maybe going there instead.
Finally, for the non skiing part, what places have the best things to do? Also, which places have the best sleeping accommodations. Like money isn't that much of a problem, but what trip would be the least expensive?
