Summer setup help

Ok so I have a summer setup (will post pics later, too late right now) but I have an issue with it. I had my dad who is an engineer design it, and he designed it to go as fast as possible. I love the design, but it just goes a little too fast. I have a 10 foot rail, and I'm landing in the middle of it every hit. And then I have like .01 seconds of slide time before I'm off the rail. Any solutions?

Move the rail 5ft further away from the lip.

1. Make rail longer
2. Make tranny longer
3. Don't use the soap and water thing.

#1 Is probably the best idea.

You could take like a foot off of the drop-in if you felt that would work

the best tips i could offer you, as i had this problem also, would be to either
1. Make the rail longer or taller
2. Pop less off the jump so you dont go as far or high

Pics of said drop? Do you use water at all? Also 10ft is a pretty short rail for swaps n shit

I'll put some pics up tomorrow, it's too dark out right now. I do water it down. But my friends have even shorter rails, but we are going slower so we can swap just fine.

Have you tried not watering it down?

Also get a longer rail or make another 10ft section and put it after the first. Being able to swap when your going fast will help you improve a lot more than going 1 mph and doing a swap on a rail that's under 10ft.

However, I'd say just make the rail longer, you will want more than 10ft eventually.

Here are the pics. As you can see, I don't really have the room to make the rail longer. To give you guys an idea of how fast I'm going, I land on the middle of the tarp, and slide out into the street.

Oh yeah and I use to have no astroturf but I had no edge control and went across the street every time so I added it

Dont listen to infamous max , (he doestn know what he's talking abput, he cant even 360)build a U-Rail . Put the curve of the U a bit infront of where the street starts , make the rail go back to the takeoff and use your speed to go up your drop in again. Ask your dad to help you bild a frictionless environment tho.

That's honestly a real good idea. It's hard to make a smooth c rail. I've actually used a more elbow style taupe and it works fine

This actually happened to me too when I first made mine. I just made the rail higher off the ground and the jump higher too and it worked
