How do you like your meat cooked?

Discuss-

I personally like steaks and other meats medium rare

But for hamburgers I like them all the way cooked, like one time I at a burger at a fancy restraunt and I was asked how I liked it cooked and I said medium rare -_- I get the meal and the burger is dripping with blood, not doing that again lol

Any cooked meat that you get the liquid that comes out of it is not blot, the blot has long been dried up and there are hardly even and veins in muscles, if any at all. Its a mixture of water and myoglobin. I like medium rare, because I eat food for the flavor and not for what it looks like. Fully cooked meat ruins the flavor.

Never seen somewhere that gives you an option on how fish is cooked.

I don't think I'd ever order fish at a restaurant either (at least where I am, fish + chips being an exception).

But when I'm cooking myself (which is pretty much always), saltwater I enjoy a quicker cook to sear the outside and get a nice crispy skin but have the meat range from opaque under the skin to a slightly translucent interior. freshwater I like to cook on lower heat so it's almost completely opaque evenly all the way through then move to higher heat to crisp up the outside and once it's on your plate it will be entirely opaque all the way through.

But I'm pretty picky about getting fish cooked just perfectly if it's on its own and not in a sauce.

Depends on the meat obviously, shrimp/clams= fried in hot peanut oil, steak= grilled, chicken= everyway imaginable, fish, depends, most fish i like fried but salmon= smoked/grilled. Pork= every possible way although smoked pork is tops. Squid= fried or in curries, I love fried squid. Hot dogs=microwaved, eggs=fried in butter or bacon grease, hamburger=grilled or fried.
