ON3P Filthy Riches?

What is it that people like about them? I really want to get a pair, but I'm not sure if I'll like them. I've heard that the filthy riches are super durable, but also really heavy. I currently ride volkl walls which are really light skis. Would switching to filthy riches be a hard transition? Also how do they handle on rails? Are they too clunky, or are they fine? I'm 5'9" and 150 pounds if that helps in any way.

They aren't heavy at al haha. They might be slightly (just very slightly) heavier than the walls, cause the walls are probably one of the lightest on the market.

They have a good amount of rocker, so size up if you do get them.

They have a medium flex.

I got them, other than the top sheet getting banged up quick they are perfect. Get em a tad bigger n jumps will be money.. great skiii

I'd personally go 176 as well, especially as a park ski at your height/weight.

I was also interested in this ski, Im 5'5 and only 115ish. Do you think that would be to long/heavy?

No. A 171 for you Wold be killer, maybe even a 176

Yes. They ski short, so that won't be a problem at all.

word I am the same weight but a couple inches shorter and I was going to get the 176 but found the 181s for a steal and copped them. I am really glad I did now, there swing weight is way less then my 174 blends and they are playful when I want them to be but still stable on jumps and all mountain. both sizes would be fine but if you want to hit bigger jumps or do all mountain I would size up. Either way though you will love them, by far the best park ski I have ever used.

I don't ski all mountain much because I live in the Midwest. I go out west about twice a year, I basically stay in the park 90% of the time. You still think 171s would be ideal? I don't want them to be too heavy either because I'm pretty damn light

You want to feel more stable regardless of where you ski. I'm 5' 9" and I ride 180s, and I'm probably going to sell them and get 182s. And I ski 95% park. I refuse to use any ski shorter than 176. They won't be more heavy.

I wish I could say I started using longer skis because I wanted to help my skiing, but that was not the case. Some kid made fun of me for having short skis, and said I was practically on snow blades. I was self concious and bought a pair of 171s (I was a lot shorter/younger at the time). Thought I was gonna have a weird time getting readjusted, but it turned out that longer is better. And my skiing improved tenfold.

i would go with 181 just because they will ski a bit short due to the rocker

nah you would be fine, they're a pretty light ski so it wouldn't be a problem

i'm about your same height and i ski on 184 devastators and they're great, if i were you i would go with the 181

Definitely 181.

Yes definitely go 176. I was on 151 salomon suspects last year and I bumped up to 178 dentes and its felt fine. For me longer skis are much more stable and just more fun in general. At first, the swing weight of a longer ski is hard to get used to but when you get used to it you can carve off the takeoffs of jumps so well and they hold up great.

I might wait for next but not sure yet. I get a discount through my local shop because I'm on a local team. I'll try to get a pair through them or wait for next years
