Planning on doing a season in Laax this winter but im worried that ill have to take weeks off at a time due to shin bang. The longest ive skied is 2 weeks last Summer and it ruined my shins, to the point where i couldn't ski normal piste properly.
From what ive heard the best hings to do are get fitted boots and roll out your shins on a foam tube. Ive done both of these so I was wondering if anyone has any exercises to help reduce shin bang.
Also can anyone explain what exactly shin bang is? From reading threads some people think its muscle others think its the actual shin bone... Any help/advice would be much appreciated
