Ski Blade Bindings

So this summer I was thinking about making a pair of ski blades for fun but was wondering about getting just the ski blade binding. I've looked on Ebay but I can't find any. I'm hoping you guys and gals know where I can find some for cheap.

Ski blade bindings are leg breakers, just mount them with some used alpine bindings or tele for full respect. Tele ski blading is something I'd like to see.

If the ski blades are short enough it shouldn't matter if they don't release.

Not really. They had some big problems when they were popular. Peoples legs were getting fucking wrecked.

Do any shops even carry ski blades anymore?

I have a pair that I bought on craigslist and I have crashed a lot on them off of jumps and stuff but nothing terrible ever happened. It just hurt a little bit but on the next run I was good.

When I got my blades (125), the shop said they recommend a releasable binding on anything over 110 (not sure if that was inclusive of it)... I would certainly agree. I had a couple of falls, where if the ski didn't release, my leg would've been savaged.

Try asking skiboard forum. Personally, I'd go releasable on 110 too.

for real though, i have a set of line blades in the back of my car that i've been looking for bindings for all season.

I have had that idea for tele-blades for a while. I think I will get a setup before next season.

I will post an edit when the time comes haha

i have a pair of line ski blades too and will occasionally break them out when i need to just go a mess around. i could never get rid of them

Lol. I had some reactors on my 1260s!!! Reactors are long gone but The t-shirt I got with it from the shop is still worn regularly.
