Anybody use it ever? Wondering what the deal is, they haven't posted anything in 2 months, not even anything shitty.

If it's just a lull in cheap flights because of spring or if it's something else. AKA I wanna get away, I wanna fly away.

I have a friend who has used the european (http://travelpirates.eu) one a bunch and swears by it for finding good deals. That said, it's a blog, not an agency. So you're only going to see what they find/decide to post, and still book it through whomever the deal is actually through. Which means the level of sketchiness varies based on whose deal it is.

The UK version (http://www.holidaypirates.com) is also quite popular and seems to be updated more regularly.

I booked a flight for next fall using it(through expedia)A lot of the stuff this winter was for the winter through mid may. There was a iceland flight for mid may but the cheap price is gone. Was hoping there would be something cool for early summer so I can get away even just for a week or two.

But yeah, maybe the airlines aren't throwing out any deals because it's the peak season for them and that's why there's nothing. Would be a bummer if I was just chillin northeast all summer and there wasn't anything out there. Hell even if I don't go anywhere, just pretending would feel nice.

Holiday pirates seems to be bumping. But I be all too far away.

I;m trying to dig up some other similar sites. I just need to get away this summer.

Nah just saw one "insanelycheapflights" but only shows a few deals at a time. 517 from NY to Copenhagen is legit but that's really the only deal.

I'm hoping to find something because I really wanna get the fuck out a few times.

If anyone finds anything even if it's not THAT great post it up.

They have the "international deals" but it's only showing 3.

There need to be more sites like "I don't give a fuck where I'm going or when but I'm poor". Because that's what I'm into.

Skyscanner lets you select a month and 'everywhere' as a destination, then sorts the results by price but I'm not sure if it knows special deals really. Still a good one if you don't care where you go.

It's still offline which is dumb. That said, just found all the glory that is google flights.

Might book a trip to Saint Petersburg at the end of the season for $550.


Some deals that are equal to or at least comparable to what I was seeing on travelpirates.

Worth checking out. Wish I saw it a few weeks ago as I start work on monday but whatever. Better late than never

Site is live again and the deals are fucking awesome.

Might go back to norway this spring or check out southeast asia. Deals for days.

I'm looking at doing a 10 country trip by flight around europe/scandanavia for under $550.


If anyone is interested. That's absurdly cheap. Like 11 different flights including crossing the atlatic ocean.


If anyone want's to I'm down. Probably booking this week
