Saturday May 2nd is the day: it's Derby Day, and it's the start of the Triple Crown season! With all the hype slowly starting to surface, it's time to see if any fellow NS'ers are following the series.

wait people actually follow horse racing? i thought everyone just used it as an excuse to get drunk and gamble

I haven't heard much about the horses competing yet. I just hope that there isn't a horse that pulls a California Chrome and win the first two Triple Crown races but not the third race (*cough cough* Belmont *cough*).
