is it that much better than photoshop elements. every tutorial gives me a whole bunch of crap with tools that i dont have.

Any full version of Photoshop is much better than Elements. Either get Cs or 7.0, both are sick.

yes, photoshop CS is really that much better. elements vs. CS or 7.0 or whatever is like having the trailer to a movie, you get the basic idea, but there's a hell of a lot more that you don't see. but yeah, CS and 7.0 are basically the same, but CS has the addition of a few tools and very in-depth features that you probably won't use if you're not heavily into image editing.
