B-dogs: durability compared to other armadas?

What do you guys think of the durability of the bdogs? I'm in the market for a new pair of armadas, but I heard from someone recently that the bdogs and edollos were produced in a different factory than the rest of the armada skis, and have proved to be a bit less durable this year... seeing as durability is the main reason I've stuck with armadas, figured I'd check with NS to see if anyone's had problems with this past years bdogs.

and while I'm on the topic, do you guys find them to be especially heavy?

I think the main complaint people have the with Al Dente is the edge size which has a smaller height, 2.2mm as opposed to the 2.5mm on the rest of Armadas park skis, which is why people moan about durability.

The B-Dog has Armadas strongest base and thickest edge so I don't see why it would be any less durable than any other Armada park ski. As for weight I've never held them or skied on them but they use the lighter core on the B-Dogs so I don't think they'd be that heavy.

I just bought a pair and they are way lighter and more flexible than my 13' El Reys. I have not skied on them yet and they're still in plastic. The five point system is hard to beat though and I plan on using them for all mountain.

from what I've seen of armadas theu seem pretty durable compared to other skis. Because the b dog has the s7 base it's pretty durable, not on,y that but they have Kevlar stringers and laminate matrix with a 2.5 mm edge so you should be all set.

Do they? I do not believe they use 2.5 mm edges, atleast I have never seen evidence of this and they for sure didn't use it 2 years ago when I last rode their skis...

Feel free to prove me wrong but I am skeptical.

Ive had three pairs of AR7's but rode the Bdogs this whole year. The bases and edges held up amazingly well, the bottom of the ski looks like ive ridden them maybe a day or two after an entire season. (Granted just park skiing, no urban). The only issues ive had is with the topsheet chipping on the side sidewall where it transitions from a cap to vertical sidewall. I have the 182's and loved them. They dont feel heavy at all and are good for skiing the entire mountain.

They don't use a 2.5mm x 2.5mm edge like ON3P's and J Skis etc but the edge height is 2.5mm while the width is the more typical 2.2mm thickness. I may be wrong here. 2.5mm x 2.2mm is still very good and can handle a lot of rail abuse.

Basically all of the Armada park skis use a 2.5mm x 2.2mm edge except the Al-Dente, you can look on their website and see if you don't believe me.

Word so they aren't 2.5 by 2.5.I couldn't find anything on it when I glanced at the website.
