mannnn I may have to go pick up a copy of COD4 after this thread. Bringing back wayyy too many memories. Like others have said, COD4 has the best maps and was the least campy out of all of the CODs. You were seriously encouraged to make strategic moves at every step of the game, whereas most of the new ones are about waiting until kill streaks. Maps like crash forced you to make mad dashes at many points throughout a match in order to not lose control and it just made it amazing. S&D on COD4>>>All

It was insane how much thought went into that game once you got to a certain level and it made it that much more fun.

The more kill streaks and perks they added the shittier the games got. At least through black ops 1 the kill streaks were mostly pretty decent. After that they tried to get so crazy and tech and it just ruined everything.

The simplicity of the game was what made it sick imo. Idk. I'll still do well in bo2 or advanced if I'm at a friends playing it but the games are weak imo.

Hoping they come out with another game I like so I can buy it and go through, level everything up, kill some people, and kill some time. Doubt it'll happen.


As far as people and cod4, maybe I'll scope it out. It's been a few years, would be stoked if I could play that hack free again.

Some of the hacked lobbies are kind of fun though. Like the ones where you're in boat mode, it takes a while to speed up, and to slow down and you're kind of floating.



Yeah the camping got extreme in MW2 and beyond. In CoD4 you only had uav,airstrike and copter....so after 7 it really didn't matter if you died, in fact after i got the attack helicopter i'd intentionally die, then put out the helicopter because it would build your kill streak for you.

I own a PS4 now, but I am really tempted to hook up my 360 and play CoD 4.

Ooooh haha, misunderstanding! Shits insane on pc now though. If you go back to try and play it everything is automatic grenade launchers no score limit unlimited time.

Tried to fix my Xbox 360 and ended up breaking it more, so the only shit I can play are the installed games. But as for favorite cods, anything from the modern warfare series. The nostalgia is the biggest factor.

4 is by far my favorite. I've probably played the most BO2 but 4 was such a great game

Of everybody on here, how many remember the first CoD they made for PC?

That game brings back such good memories, from characters that I actually cared about to rifles only search and destroy with friends

Cod4 is the classiest, no denying. I'm also a big fan of the dismemberment system in WaW, bouncing betty's blowing your legs out, blood spilling everywhere.. The dub barrel shotgun was fucking brutal, scaring people off by instantly turning their body into pieces. good times aha

And when enemy got a UAV up I switched to

Counter UAV or ghost or whatever it was called
