COD4 was the best, they've been chasing the dragon ever since.

I had the most fun with MW3 though. Fucking crushed it at that game. Averaging 28 kills a game, no camping just run andgun them bitches.

xbox servers are still mostly untouched, or untouched enough where it's easy to find a lobby that isn't hacked. however, the people that do still play that game are fucking good at it.

COD4, no question. I was on the #1 team in the world for a couple months, mainly because a set of twins at my school in HS were absolute freaks at the game and kind of brought me along for the ride.

Idk man, every time I went back to 4 it was hacked to shit. I mean you could get some legit lobbies but more hacked than not. Same with mw2 now. Probably going to get there with mw3.

It sucks because black ops 2 was shit, advanced warfare is shit. So if mw3 get's hacked to the point it's unplayable I'm done with COD for good. (Unless they put out a decent game again)

It's funny that the games are 18 plus yet they cater to the 12-16 year old crowd.

If im not mistaken i believe they patched all the lobbies now but i could be wrong. I havent played thay game in a few years. I remember me and my friends used to run shit in team deathmatch. Shit was so fun

Not on the old ones. They stop bothering. MW3 is at that point, the other had been for years.

And TD is fun but the lobbies were shit a lot of times. I played domination mostly after a while so that there wouldn't be as much camping and there was even more reason to bomb around the maps.

Watched a little bit of the gaming tournament at one point, they played S and d, TD, and Dom. The "Pro" games were so bad at dom it was hilarious. Any even mediocre team from the dom lobbies could have smoked them.

Idk, just felt like I needed to rant about that. Now you know

I had the most fun on Bo2. Suppressed Peacekeeper on Hardcore mode was beast.

I bought Ghosts and it sucked, I saw the shit previews for Advanced Warfare...so I just sold my PS4 and I haven't played video games for a year.

I've been playing COD4 all the time recently and have only been in one hacked lobby in the past month and a half or so. I almost never see hacking on there anymore.

CoD4 hands down.

Get on that M16 with stopping power, was my go to.

3 kill streaks, 3 kills = UAV, 5 kills = air strike, 7 kills = helicopter.....hold on to your helicopter until you die and start it up after respawn to build those kill streaks back up.

It had the best maps of the modern era of CoD.

Overgrown, crossfire, crash, wet work, downpour, showdown, strike, vacant...there are more but all the maps were spot on and so much fun.

Remember when gold guns were hard to get? Like having to beat every single challenge for every gun in the specific class just to get the one gold gun.

Getting so pissed off after putting 6 rounds into a guy cause he was rocking the juggernaut perk.



Call of Duty died with the plethora of kill streaks and attachments/skins it created a camp fest to get to that 15 kill streak.

I honestly didn't start playing COD (or really any video games) until BOPS 2 came out. So I have always liked Black ops 2 and Ghosts the most. But it sounds like I should probably start playing the other ones. They sound pretty damn good. I love playing it on Live but honestly like the campaigns more than anything.
AW sucked a chode though I agree with that

- First COD that came out on PC. love the D-Day mission and as well as the Stalingrad mission.

- World at war, loved how brutal and gritty it was.

- The black ops Vietnam missions, but that's it.

YEah, every cod got more and more campers. Fuck that shit. Even my first moab was a run and gun. People hiding in every fucking corner like a bitch. You're crushing it and then some douche going negative as fuck is just hiding in some fucking doorway.


The more kill streaks and perks they added the shittier the games got. At least through black ops 1 the kill streaks were mostly pretty decent. After that they tried to get so crazy and tech and it just ruined everything.

The simplicity of the game was what made it sick imo. Idk. I'll still do well in bo2 or advanced if I'm at a friends playing it but the games are weak imo.

Hoping they come out with another game I like so I can buy it and go through, level everything up, kill some people, and kill some time. Doubt it'll happen.


As far as people and cod4, maybe I'll scope it out. It's been a few years, would be stoked if I could play that hack free again.

Some of the hacked lobbies are kind of fun though. Like the ones where you're in boat mode, it takes a while to speed up, and to slow down and you're kind of floating.

four of my all time favorite multiplayer maps are dome, showdown, nuke town, and wet work. I used to just slay on these maps.

Best game I still would have to say is COD 4.

If you've ever played the first call of duty on pc online you know what's up. The sophistication and awesomeness of the online game play is amazing for the time. That being said my vote for best cod goes to MW2.
Cod4 was on a level of its own when it came out but imo, mw2 takes the cake because of how much it added to the online experience.
-the maps were near flawless
-choosing killstreaks changed everything
-quickscoping
-akimbo
-variance in perks
-weird weapons like throwing knives and blast shields

There are more reasons but that's what comes to mind. Mw2 just felt like a great game, cod4, improved. Every other cod after just feels like a copy of its predecessor with different guns. They aren't bad, just mw2 seems to be where it all peaked.

I liked nuketown at first because of ll the action but it's a kind of shitty map imo. HAs nothing to it. I bet it sucked for whoever designed some of the other maps that that was the most popular.

IT just plays shitty, kids just camp on the sides, in the rooms, and the middle is just open. Dome isn't my favorite but it plays much better. Can't really remember the names of the maps in cod4 though. I thought firing range in BO2 was pretty sweet. Open but still had some flow to it.

THis thread makes me want to turn on my xbox and kill people
