Lol I wasn't trying to catch trout, I was going for bass and that was the rod that was in my car, i got bored in between classes and decided to wet my line. Most of my bass rods have heavy line just becuase of the lake I fish, real heavy weeds n shit!

Nah I guess I should have said that mostly about salmonids. Toothy beasts like that do still look pretty awesome at any size. Maybe it's just the kype mouth that turns me off, who knows.

True! They do taste pretty good but I only keep them if I hook em and they're fucked up or if they swallow the hook ice fishing

I have no problem eating panfish just because they are so more plentiful, as well as they do eat some of the bass eggs and what not. when i see people taking bass that really grinds my gears and even if it is within the law i usually do call them out on it, lolzzzz
