Replying to Study Abroad or Stay on Track?

chemiskier:
Hey NS,

I've recently been presented with the opportunity to study abroad in Berlin in the spring of 2016. I, however, have some complications, apprehensions rather, about going. Firstly, I transferred from UNR to Washington to get in-state tuition so I could then transfer to UW as a rising junior and save almost 40k a year in tuition. Currently I'm on track to hopefully transfer to UW in the fall of 2016. The catch is that I need an entire year of physics in order to transfer (I'm a chemistry major) and my last leg of physics would be, you guessed it, in the spring of 2016. I am trying to work out being able to take physics online or have it somehow be offered while I'm abroad, but there isn't enough information yet to know if I can do this for sure.

The program is an entire quarter in Berlin and the price covers 15 directly transferrable credits, so it's not a complete waste, but the only class I will need in order to transfer to UW is physics, which could potentially not be offered.

tl;dr What do you guys think? Should I study abroad and enjoy a great opportunity and catch up later (maybe?), or should I just keep on grinding towards that PharmD/MD?
