Replying to IMS - Intra Muscular Stimulation

Have you guys ever heard of this? Had any experience with it? I ruptured a disk in my back skiing about 2 months ago and physio hasn't been doing too much to help it, but I recently learned about IMS and just had my first appointment. I was just wondering if any of you guys have ever had it done and how much it helped! Im really hoping itll help with the stiffness ive been feeling. After my first appointment i can definitely say its a feeling unlike any other ive experienced, and im pretty sore right now but I really hope ill see a difference in the next few days :)
