lIllIIf your definition of "good" is merely keeping the subject within the frame, then sure. In which case, even dashboard cams have aesthetic merit.
lIllISome of the one-point perspectives worked well, but beyond that it was the same unmotivated use of space with the measly benefit of not having the skiers' heads chopped off. I'm not saying it was bad at all; it's just that I don't see how the aspect ratio served the video.
eheathThis is a great point as well, not every shot is composed to keep a skiers head in frame, at any aspect.
I agree with landis' point here as well, its clearly a canon with an 11-16 @11 cause every shot is just so wide and a full skier in the middle 1/6 of the frame.
In reality, follow cams @2.35 will always look like this, unless you shoot tight and intend to only get the skis or something in your frame.
This is probably one of few edits i've made @2.35 that I actually like my framing/composition.
