PoikenzNot very for rub on waxes. The act of waxing skis is mostly to remove dirt, rubbing some sort of deodorant stick bs on your skis will remove a bit of dirt sure, but you'd probably be better off with a wash cloth or some shit. I'd say doing a hot wax is a better option that is quicker than leaving your skis overnight. You really only need the wax to cool back to a solid so it sticks to the dirt and pulls it off when you scrape/ brush. I usually wax both skis at once and by the time I'm done applying to the second the first one is cool enough to scrape.
SurfboardYou have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. But to answer the question, it can't be as good as letting them sit, but it can't hurt them either...
PoikenzAre you joking? I'm going off of scientific fact, unlike people who spout that wax gets absorbed into the pores of the ski's base.

.lenconYeah I understand what you're saying and you're right. I know that rub ons aren't very effective. Say if you applied the wax and sped up the cooling process, would it have the same effect?
