How old is too old for Windells ski camp?

When i look at videos from windells i always see little kids that are just learning park and teens that are sponsorship material. Are there older kids that go that happen to be beginners? Or is it "don't go if you are 17 and can't backflip". If anyone can enlighten me that would be appreciated. My 16 yr old brother is thinking of going there this summer and cannot even slide a box properly. Should he go somewhere else?

He is mainly concerned of being the worst in his age group. He doesn't want to go and have to start from the beginning with a bunch of ten year old kids.

Anyone who is under 18 is put into the normal camp. They have a camp for people 18+ "Adult camp" They do tons of other stuff and nothing to do with the younger campers. They go on the hill the same time as the others though. They do a lot of drinking, ex.

I'm going to MHSSC but honestly any age is great for camp. Also a lot of people can't backflip at windells let alone slide a bigger size rail. You would be surprised the skill level of people at summer camps. People who like to park ski that can afford camp go. It's not like the rich are good at skiing only 30% of kids at camp are good under your standards.at least that's what I hear

Too old for summer ski camp isn't a thing. We have an entire session that is adults only.

I'm pretty sure they group you buy your riding abilities. Tell him to go he will have a lot of fun!

It's 2k... if you're over 18 I can't see any reason to go. Why wouldn't you just rent a hotel, get a 15 hookers and a pound of blow and go to Hood for the entire summer...

Its not a big deal at all, if anything, its WAY more fun for adults to go. Can hang with the coaches, drink, go out at night, etc.

That being said..I would highly recommend looking into the Whistler camps. The town is sooo much more fun and the nightlife is awesome. Such a fun place as an "adult"

Realistically, if you're under 18 go to camp, if you're not do it yourself.

I went to high north (whistler) back in the day when I was 17 and it was a blast, there were tons of guys 14-18 there so it was fine. I know windells always as a ton of 'teens' for sure.

But, when I was 18 i drove out to hood with 7 of my friends and camped/skied for a week, its 100 times cheaper and just as fun. If your brother (or maybe you're talking about yourself lol) is 16, id say go to camp if you can afford it.

Last summer when I went, I met this guy who I thought was a photographer or something.. Nah he's just a camper in his 40s. He was going to camp when his kids were at another, I was inspired. Point is, you can't be too old.

Dude in the High North days we used to get campers in the 25-40 range. They were awesome. Any skill level and age can have a good time at camp.

What is really important is that your bro should come to Newschoolers week and we'll take great care of him. :)
