JAHpowSteamed fresh vegetables, easy rice and oven baked chicken is my go to meal at college. Really simple, quick and healthy. Also it's not so expensive either.
JAHpowPlus I drink only water, cuz it's free...and healthy
mirozMy biggest driver to eating healthy is buying and cooking my own food. It's not hard to make healthy meals that taste good. Then you make enough to have leftovers the next day for lunch. Just controlling what you eat can make a huge difference (and will save you a lot of money). For me, it starts at the grocery store. Shop healthy, eat healthy.
Try oven roasting vegetables if you don't currently cook much. Pretty much any vegetable tastes good with a little oil, salt, pepper, and 15-20 minutes in the oven at 375-400.
PM me if you have any specific questions. I can lay out a week's worth of simple, healthy, budget friendly, meals for you, if you think that would help.
.complexI have a friend that just quit drinking soda altogether a few months ago and he cut down 10 lbs easy, and he's not even that overweight. Small stuff can go a long way if you put your mind to it.
