I bought some new STH2 WTR 13's and got them mounted by a good shop in the South Island of New Zealand however I live in the North Island so they didn't have my boots to adjust the forward pressure, toe height, and toe wings. I have adjusted the forward pressure and toe height just fine (forward pressure screw not sitting out/in and 0.5mm gap between AFD and boot as indicated by instruction manual) however the toe wing adjustment isn't very clear in the manual.
Basically all it says is don't over tighten and make sure the friction free contacts on the wing touch the boot. I'm not sure how tight to actually make the wings against the boot. Currently what I've done is loosen the wings completely and then tighten the wings until the screw stops turning easily. Is this the correct way to do it or should I do something else?
Thanks for any help.
