Best restaurant, hangout spot, what are the people like, cool views, why do you like/dislike it?
I live in the boonies, just east of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The town is pretty chill, a lot of trails and recreational areas, Sometimes you can even catch a glimpse of a wild "Krotch" stroking his beard.
I'm from a little northern Michigan city by the name of Gaylord
I've always thought of it as the perfect city, small enough that it can still be a tight knit community but large enough that it has everything you could need
Bit of a sportsman's paradise and I miss it since I've moved away
and anybody passing through, be sure to stop by the Alpine Tavern
I live in Newmarket, NH. Its really small and the downtown doesn't have many things to offer. There's a few trails in the woods to bike or hike. School life is pretty boring as most of the people seem to try to hard to be someone else, there's also no other skiers :(
Mont Vernon NH. A small town with only a general store for food. I like it since its small but since its not very wealthy the fun dirt roads and twisty roads are usually bumpy as hell and they fix them very rarely. Its pretty even with old people, new couples in a nice town and the people like my family whove been around for over 15 years. Usually I hang with my friends in my neighboring town where my school is but theres a few nice ones ill go to this summer, pretty much open fields. Its known for its views that look into Mass and the nearby city airport, and sadly a murder that almost took a friend of mine a few years ago but my favorite was a few years ago it was on Jon Stewarts show since our tiny little pond use to be called 'Jew Pond' (lol) Its in a good spot thats 20 minutes from my home mountain and 2 hours from Killington.
I live in a town nestled in northern NY called Queensbury, and it's right on the border of the Adirondack Park. It's home to an ice cream shop that was featured on the today show, West Mountain (a.k.a. Waste Hill) practically overlooks the town, our northernmost border reaches Lake George (the lake, not the village), and it's close to some good skiing elsewhere: 40 mins from Mount Jore, 1.5 hours from Whiteface, and 1 hour from Killington.

Any chance you ski at Otsego? I'm up there occasionally. I guess my hometown is more or less ludington, I bounce around a lot. We have cool sunsets and we are on the lake. Used as advertising for pure Michigan which is pretty cool. Lots of sandy beaches and good fishing. Not a whole lot to do other than enjoy the surroundings. Also have a national treasured state park too. Check it out sometime.
I'm from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. It's a pretty rough city that has something like 6 jails in a city of 40,000. It used to (and may still) have the highest teen pregnancy rate per capita in Canada and one of the highest gang member per capita in North America.
That said, it's close to a ton of lakes (amazing fishing) and just on the edge of the boreal forrest.

Bethesda, Maryland. I'm not from it, but it's where I live. People here generally suck and think they're better than everyone else. If you say hi to them on the trail they will look at you as if you have just committed social suicide. We have the second richest zip code in the country and have been voted the snonbiest town in the US. I can't wait to get the fuck out of here...

I'm from Manly, Sydney. It's the capital of NSW. But holy fuck every chick is basic as fuck . Zero originality, there's also a weird trend of camping into a bush and having a party with playing psytrance and eating a fuck load of drugs and all claiming to be "spiritual". Dumbest shit ever
this restaurant is super popular and at the center of town, really cool old diner thats been there forever and theres dope antique car meets every sunday in the summer
A small town called Greencastle - population 10,000. There is 1 bar and a high school with almost 1,000 kids in it. The town is completely team sports oriented (even though we live 25 minutes away from a small ski resort no one could give two fucks) and fun for people all ages includes floating in tubes down the creek we have and having to stand up every 5 minutes to avoid shallow rocks or syringes or snakes. I can't wait to move lol

I live in Saratoga springs, upstate NY and all we really have is a race track and a decent lake. And I go to west sometimes when I can't make it up to another mountain and go to Martha's (the ice cream shop) all the time

Here's Zumikon, in Zurich, Switzerland. I'm gonna miss it so much, I hope to move back one day. Views of Zurich and the Greifensee all in one place, great for running, 15 minute tram ride into Zurich, huge swimming outdoor swimming pool for summer and so many nice places and quiet.

I lived in the corner it was also a front for a crack whore house.
The paper mill that makes the town smell awful and I'm pretty sure it gives everyone cancer. There is a high cancer rate in the town due to radon and the mill is not helping out with it at all. The mill will most likely close in 5 years and it will turn into a ghost town.
The hydro damn that we get nothing out of. It all goes to canada.

I grew up moving a lot but I will always consider Norwalk my home. We lived in a tiny little house right by the shore in sono and the marina where we kept our boats, the skate park, and the aquarium was all within walking distance. Norwalk has some of the best fast food joints ever (Overton's) and their pizza is amazing. But I'm really glad I didn't end up going to school there though because their school system is shit.
I live in Boulder, co. Our best restaurant is an Ethiopian place called ras kassas. Our city is known for its liberalniss, fit people, educated people, and snobbiness. I would much rather live in the mountains. However, it's only about 2 hours to the summit county resorts.

Hamilton, MA. You're standard wealthy New England town. Kinda like it though because it's 10 minutes from the ocean, 30 from Boston, and a couple hours from some NH lakes and mountains. The people are generally pretty nice too.
Duluth MN, voted the best outdoor town in the nation. We have spirit mountain for skiing, and downhill mountain biking. Hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails for cross country. Lake superior for sailing, boating, swimming, fishing. Tons of rivers to fish. The superior hiking trail starts here and ends at the top of the state, some of the prettiest hiking I've ever done. Theres also some sick rock climbing, the list goes on and on, and most of it is within about 30 min of downtown, so no long drives. Also we are within the top 10 cleanest air cities in the US, and are considered to have some of the cleanest, best tasting tap water for drinking.

Duluth seems great. I've been through their several times. Seems like the perfect place to live if I want to stay close to home and actually have stuff to do.

To me Saratoga is like a ritzy version of Lake George without the lake close by and the tacky shops. I love going to the track, especially on Travers day because it's exciting to me. However, I've never been to Saratoga Lake...

Saratoga lake is pretty shitty, no cliff jumping or rope swings and a lot of seaweed and grossness but it's fun for fishing and boating but when I really want to have a good day on the lake I go up to lake George. And like 99% of the shops here don't benefit me at all. The track is fun to go to but annoying with all the asshole tourists/ old people that come to town
