tdolloSo I finally gathered enough money to go to Momentum this summer. I've never been to a summer ski camp before so I have no clue what to expect. What should I wear? Whats the weather usually like? What have your past experiences been like? If you guys have any tips to tell me or just funny stories to tell, I wanna hear em!
Hey dude!
We're stoked to hear you're coming to Momentum, it's going to be yet another awesome summer! We're expecting to once again have great weather, with lots of fun in the sun. That said, don't forget to bring lots of high SPF sunscreen, as the UV is much higher up on the glacier which makes it really easy to burn. You definitely don't want to ruin your week by getting burnt!
While there will be lots of sun, the weather can change quickly up on the glacier, so don't forget to bring up layering for all types of weather each day - a light jacket, hoodie, and an extra t-shirt/longsleeve layer or two in case you get wet. We recommend long sleeves over t-shirts, simply because if you fall in a t-shirt it's way easier to scrape up your arms and get snow burn.
In terms of getting the most out of your time at Momentum, camp really is what you make it. Come with an open mind and be ready to have the most fun you've ever had. You'll make so many new friends and learn a ton, just don't be afraid to try new things!
Can't wait for you to come visit. If you have any more questions feel free to message us!
