Hey guys. So NS is probably the biggest community that I'm part of. I've been using/contributing to this site nearly 7 and a half years now. I haven't asked for much, so now I am.
I've started a project that I'm hoping I can turn into a non profit. I'm going to be driving around the country for the next 3 months interviewing women about their lives and making mini ethnographic documentaries. This is in conjunction with the Facebook page that I've created to share content as well as an instagram, youtube account, twitter, and website with a blog.
The point is to challenge perspectives on American life and share as many perspectives as possible--everything from transvestites to housewives.
I'm hoping that this first project can garner enough interest that I can do additional ones on other demographics. I've started with women my own age since I'm going to be alone on the road for 3 months. Stranger danger and all that.
Anyway, I have my Facebook page set up and I just maxed out my individual messages quota. I want to get up to 700 likes so that I can hopefully get interviewed by my town newspaper. If I can get interviewed by them, then I can likely get interviewed by my national sorority. If I can manage that, then I can likely get support from a hell of a lot of other places as well. But getting up to 700 is pretty damn hard especially when you're not anyone particularly important.
It would be absolutely fucking amazing if you would be willing to like my page. Follow the content or don't, but I really want to get the word out there so that my page can help the audience it's built for.

Aside from that, I'm also on the hunt for women between 29 and 32 willing to be interviewed/photographed/recorded about their lives. If you know anyone that fits in that demographic that would potentially be interested, please shoot me a message and I can give you my contact information to get in touch.
THANK YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE.
If you have any questions, I would be more than happy to answer.
