NWA movie thread

There is now a movie coming out revolving around the rise and fall of NWA, called "Straight Outta Compton"
IMO this looks like a crazy good movie and can not wait to see it. To make it even better it is produced by Ice Cube and Dr.Dre, so i think it will depict a pretty accurate picture of what NWA went through in the mid 1980's on there rise to fame. The cast is an all around great bunch that IMO will create a potential award winning movie. Here is the trailer and the website let me know what you think.

This has two outcomes. Belly flop or Blockbuster. I don't see a middle ground.

Looks like its gonna be awesome.

When is it coming out? I heard around september this year, but I'm not sure.

I think it'll be better than boys in tha hood and 8 mile. All the members of NWA over saw production and made sure the story was authentic. I can't see a way that straight outa compton will tank.

I'm assuming that the actual people will play there characters? It may seem a little awkward seeing them acting but I hope it works well. I have hope. Exited to see it however it is..

Ice cube's son is actually playing him in the movie. No way you could make Dre look that young again either, and I don't think we will see an Eazy E appearance...

rip eazy, this is spot on. The look-alikes are pretty similar though.

probably cause suge knight wasn't part of NWA? Dre only moved to death row after NWA fell apart
