Good snow can pretty much always be found in Castle, and Ballroom cause they're protected. If it's really warm and sunny out check out backside which is the gate right behind collins lift, it can get really slushy in there on warm days which can be fun. Check out Catherine's area if the snow is good. If you want to ski some powder and don't mind really short runs take that high speed lift by albion (sunnyside I think) and ski the ridgeline and drop in skiers right wherever. It's a beginner lift so not many people ski that area, lots of nice features, and usually pretty fresh, just really short runs. For your last run of the day, if you can get someone to pick you up over at snowbird take wildcat up, stay skiers left and look for the westward ho gate, really steep stuff, and usually pretty fresh too but this will take you into snowbird. If you hike up a little bit you can take the keyhole gate if it's open and you get some more vert.

Love the jumps off of Wildcat and Catherines is a good ass area, lots of open space. I miss it so much wish I lived in Utah

Snow this weekends probably gonna be pretty icy for most of the day. I would say try and find stuff that faces S or SE and gets the most sun exposure

Catherine's is a lot of fun. Lots of nice natural booters and other options. There's also a snake run hidden if you can find it.

I heard the snowboarders at Alta are dicks though.
