VD.Shoot them some comp results if you've got them, and maybe some example of how you're a generally solid guy on the mountain, kids look up to you etc.

With the comp results don't worry if they're not all '1sts' or podiums, 15th place at a high profile event carries a lot more weight than 1st at the VT barn raising rail jam.
VD.Out of interest what company is it?
Roan. They are out of WA and called Zodic, we will see if they are looking for riders yet or not. Can't hurt to ask i guess!

PilleDaKidPut together a resume for your skiing. Include photos, videos, and any relevant info you can think of. Hit them up and explain why you want to be a part of their company and include the resume you put together. Talking to someone face to face always helps too. My advice may not be the greatest, because I've been trying to do this all winter and had no luck, but it seems like the way to go, I think I just need to get better at skiing first haha.

PmooreThe biggest thing is proving you actually want to do your part in helping the company, its not just the free stuff you are after. Giving out gear is pricey for small companies and they need to be reassured that you are going to bust your ass as hard as the owner or few employees do to promote the company.
Show them you can make a product video, make sure they know you are willing to promote their adds or sales on gear on your social media etc.

JOYSTICK*worry about getting useable photo and video content not about how some stoner in a booth ranks you amongst others.
Roan.So I found a small company that might be looking for riders, what's the best way to ask them if they would sponsor me, obviously a video, but what else do companies like?
