need some math help, pretty easy stuff but i cant figure it out. help me out and i will buy you anything you want off of amazon for 20$ or less. dont need it formally written out, bullet points with the answers to each part of the assignment are all i need. need it by tonight, first person who does it correctly will get the prize. this is college algebra 101 level material for reference.
Assignment:
Using the CLASS DATA (on the next page) from the Pendulum Lab,
a. Identify the function family that best fits the data set((ie:linear, exponential, logarithmic, directly or indirectly proportional power function)). Clearly justify your reasoning with at least three characteristics.
b. Find the appropriate regression equation for the data set. Round to 3 decimal places.
c. Using technology (e.g. Microsoft Word), create a table that contains BOTH the data points AND values generated using the regression model.
d. Using technology (e.g. Graph), create a graph that contains BOTH the class data points AND the regression model.
e. Using the regression model, calculate the period of one pendulum swing when the length is 18.2 cm. Show all work.
Rubric:
Item Points
E Completely and correctly answers the question(s)
F All variables are identified (letter, what it represents, units, ind/dep)
G Equation/formula/model is given and parts of equation are identified/explained
H Calculations are introduced verbally and mathematical steps are shown
J Table has title and columns are labeled with item and unit
K Graph has a title, is properly labeled, scales are appropriate, and function and data are graphed correctly. Graph should be a FULL page. Label important points.
Class Data for Pendulum Lab
Class Data: Length of a string and the time of one period.
Length (cm) Time (sec)
140 2.37
120 2.2
90 1.89
60 1.55
40 1.25
