e~bthere are multiple threads and a cult about this... use the search bar next time.
White fencing lattice is what i use, with turf on the takeoff. No soap needed, and the white lattice is super fast
hippy.killerI was wondering what was the fastest material since I dont have much space in my backyard I need to make the most out of it. Whats faster orange fencing or plastic lattice
e~bwell white lattice is going to have more surface area, so i would say lattice. the biggest thing is making the turf as fast and short as possible. also lattice in the landing is really nice, thats what i use
hippy.killercould I use lattice for the flat part and kicker too?
ParryWithAnAGive me $50 and I will send a detailed email about how to make a kick ass summer set up.

BarnyeZestI wish i had a big enough garden for a summer set up :'(
.CJ.I have a 20 foot yard and make do with it, you probably can too.
BarnyeZestNah we only have a small patiod courtyard, its got like a table in it thats it haha. Fortunately being in the UK its only a 20 minute drive to my nearest "dry slope" booo dry slope boo.
hippy.killerSo I bought lattice and turf and started building the drop in but I was wondering if I need to put turf under the lattice or if I can just have wood under it. Would my skis touch the wood, and would it make it slower/faster? Also, for support beams under the ramp part, how would I cut the wood too match the degree of the ramp? Like the piece of wood that attaches to the downhill ramp part that adds extra support.
LonelyAlso as a heads up, all this got me thinking and I'm currently working on making a CAD step buy step to put into a pdf and post here. All the help is much appreciated And will help with design.

chiefclulThinking of building one this weekend. How much wood do you think ill need and how big should the drop in be if I have lattice at the top?

UilyJeffDon't forget to run your screws/bolts in from underneath. Dont drill through the surface sliding area or you will fuck your bases in the ass.
