How are look pivot 12

I bought rossignol slats for next season and i am looking at pivot 12 and I am not sure if the pivot heel peice would be useful

It's a binding. It keeps you in until it lets you out. It's just like the Pivot 14, only 2 less.

Thanks I wasn't sure if the heel was useful becuase I never really used a binding with the pivot
