I could embed edits all day long but that's not what I'm making this thread for.

I've been thinking about this all winter, what happened to skiing in the past 4-5 years? What made people change from the baggy pants and gang signs and all that other shit? Like..NOBODY skis like this anymore. Not even the people that are still in the game. I miss that shit...that shit was cool.
THAT SHIT WAS COOL.
Speaking of cool..It seems like skiing peaked in "coolness" back when these edits came out. The whole style of skiing culture was different..it was fucking awesome.

These edits, at least for me, have an aura to them. Brings me back to when I REALLY just starting to get into park skiing. Maybe that's why I appreciate these edits and that time in skiing so much..maybe that's why when I see the change in skiing today I want it to go back to how it was before. Maybe it was the lack of high quality edits being produced. Idk..

Nothing made today stands out to me like those edits did, (og jiberish, og junction133 edits, og brogan edits, og clownschool edits) 2008-2011 was a timeless era in skiing and i fucking miss it so much.


Natural progression of the sport and technology I suppose?

I hope I got some of you thinking with this post. I feel like there's a fantastic conversation to be had with this topic, I'm just not sure what to say to get it going..
