EASTIE21Yes indeed. Cool stuff to sail against new competition and people you have never met before. What class and where are you racing?
FuckitandhuckitInternational 420 and in Ireland
EASTIE21Good for you. That should be pretty damn sweet. As always just chat with everyone possible. Sailors are always a sweet group to hang out with no matter what nationality. Plus local knowledge of tides and current is always key (Screw sailing in Charleston, SC).
Also, since you are sailing in Ireland this video is certainly relevant.

FuckitandhuckitThat video was hilarious. Sailing needs commentators like that to keep things more entertaining. What type of boat do you sail?

.Hugo.This is what sailing in europe is like. Im sure youll have fun
msewardSailed my whole life as well. Repped canada at North Americans in laser a few times but never qualified to get off the continent and cant afford to enter open worlds just to get squashed- so good for you op, thats actually sick, assuming you are USA or i'd probably know you or of you.(if canada RNSYS rep lol)
I have alot of friends that have been to worlds and two of my coaches that i'm pretty tight with have gone to the olympics in radial- from what i hear its pretty fucking awesome and the vibes are really good off the water- on the water its obviously probably going to be alot more agressive than you are used to, and apparently mark roundings are hilarious because of all the different accents screaming at once.
Also in that video my former team mate/coach wins the pin- pretty awesome.
