I'm at whistler for spring break, and am really trying to get in to some park skiing while im here. Today I had a nasty slip out from grinding a box and slammed my head in to the box when i fell which made me lose all my confidence with trying other features let alone grinding other boxes. Where did you guys start? I want to know where to begin and how to get up the fucking guts to try a three sixty on a side hit or something! Any help is very much appreciated. I want to progress but don't know how to get up the courage to try stuff, or know where to start. Btw There is no powder here and snow is basically all hard groomers and crud. Thanks for the help
Started doing rails on a skateboard rail in my backyard. Took my "skills" to the park and got rekt. I recommend practicing on short rails/boxes, and don't be afraid to go faster than you might think you should go. Look at the end of the rail. As for 3's, try doing them off puny side hits. Not much can go wrong on a one foot side booter.
