Turning up in another country

So we just landed in Punta Cana and it's hype as fuck. I'm talking unlimited drinks and food! Who else is in a different country for spring break?

in college i was stupid hungover and was boarding my flight to seattle and made a right where the jetway Y'ed. got on the plane and went to sleep. Woke up in the air, they made some announcement about passports etc, and i realized i was on a plane to Vancouver.

so yes, i have "turned up" in another country.

it definitely happens. on the local news a few weeks ago they mentioned something about a lady getting on the wrong plane and winding up in LA instead of Vancouver or something. Just when the flight attendant is too lazy to properly read the flight number and just figures the passenger isn't an idiot and getting on the wrong flight.

When they are boarding two flights out of the same inside gate, but not same port(?) back-to back it does. especially when you ignore the obvious directional signage like my hungover self apparently did.

A kid from Minneapolis snuck onto a flight to Vegas a while back unticketed. He even made it through the TSA checkpoint on his own somehow.

partied in A SHIT load of other countries all across europe and some of asia. one of worst times i blacked out was in Berlin, Germany. I came to while taking a piss on the berlin wall....don't remember that weekend too much.

Was incredibly hung over at the train station in Frankfurt. Went to go buy a bottle of water and though I made it to the right platform. I was meaning to go to Annecy, France. I fell asleep almost instantly and woke up in Hamburg, Germany. I was an hour shy of making it to Denmark.

I was unaware that this was such a big deal to you that I needed to cite multiple sources, even though a simple Google search would support my claims if you were so worried about it.
